Large Sta-rite Pool Pumps Sta-Rite Self-Priming Pump.This heavy-duty brass self-priming pump is specifically designed for commercial pools and public swimming pools and spa, water parks and fountains where high performance pool and self-priming pump characteristics are desired. Exceptional self-priming swimming pool pump design allows this pump to be installed above or below pool water level. Pump is made of cast of cast iron with enclosed pump bronze impeller, these pumps feature standard 4" x 6" pump flange connections, JM open drip-proof pool motors and NEMA "C" flange pump design with sleeved stainless steel pump motor shaft. An oversized, 1,100 cu. in. pump hair and lint strainer holds a large quantity of debris and reduces pump maintenance. Backend pull-out pump design enables servicing of normal wearing pump parts without disconnecting pool piping.
